On 20th September 2025, the Department of Political Science conducted the annual DAAD program at the College auditorium, under the theme “Celebrating Political Personalities”, honouring political personalities, celebrating ideas, leadership and democratic spirit.
The activities conducted were:
1. Policy puzzle( identifying fundamental rights, fundamental duties and fundamental duties of the Indian constitution)
2. Photo Mandate (picture quiz of political personalities)
3. Echo chamber(role play of PM Narendra Modi)
On this day, the following students were rewarded under various categories;
1. Most sincere – Metshete-o Pulo 5th sem.
2. Rising star-Sazhopu Domai 3rd sem.
3. Most attentive-Aldrin Lerthankhum 1st sem.
4. Best conduct-Vipranol Savi 5th sem.
5. Best custom- Zashebonu Savi 5th sem. and Michael Zaputou 3rd sem.
6. Best attendance-Vivek Singh 1st sem, Jangneichoi kipgen 3rd sem, Swedevinu Ltu 3rd sem, Sazhopu Domai 3rd sem, Elunso K 5th sem. and Vipranol Savi 5*h sem.
The students were divided into three groups namely Socialists, Liberals and Communists.
The winners of the activity day are given in order:
1st position: Liberals
2nd position: Socialists
3rd position: Communists
The program ended with a potluck.
