Mr. Merishan Ezung

Meet Mr. Merishan Ezung, an alumnus of MCC, son of Nchumbemo Ezung and Martha Ezung, who cleared his NPSC CSE exam this year, achieving the post of EAC. This is what he had to say; Greetings to all! I am Merishan Ezung, an Alumnus of Model Christian College, Kohima 2010-2013 batch. My association with this college ended 8 years ago technically but emotionally, I am still very much attached to this place. It is an honour to be writing this piece, a little something about myself and my thoughts, here in this platform. Before my tryst with MCC, I had attained matriculation from Mount Hermon Higher Secondary School, Kohima and had pursued higher secondary course at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. After graduating in Botany from Model Christian College, Kohima, I went on to obtain a Master's degree (Botany) from Nagaland University, Lumami. Thereafter, I started preparing for the Civil Services Examination. I cleared the NPSC CSE in 2021, achieving the post of EAC. In my entire educational journey, the 3 years at MCC has been one of the most enriching and memorable. It was here that I stumbled upon the best of friends and teachers who would later on, be a source of motivation and inspiration for me. Today, I am truly grateful to my lecturers at MCC for being the best of role models for us and the entire MCC family for providing us the proper environment to grow not just as students but also as responsible individuals, preparing us for our lives and careers ahead. To the younger generation at MCC, I would tell them that in life, whatever you aspire to accomplish, work on it with focus, courage, perseverence and patience. Live in the moment, Endeavour and Cherish the journey as you move closer to your goals. Long live Model Christian College! MCC Family would like to thank Mr. Merishan Ezung for his words of encouragement. We would also like to extend a hearty congratulations to him for his achievements and would like to wish him the absolute best today and beyond.

Miss. Neitshu Yhor (Batch 2008-2011)

My three years with the MCC started with lots of aspiration in my heart, which came to reality when I finally got placed in the college. My experience in MCC was different and has led me to explore and learn new things in terms of personal and professional aspects. “We don’t grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges,” those three years were challenging, however escalated me on the learning curve and let to my personal development. The ambience of the college has always been so positive. I would like to heartily thank all the teachers and staffs in our college, who are still there and who were formerly working as well. All of it was possible with the right direction provided by all the faculties right from the beginning of the journey. I cherish the memories; I look forward to keep in touch always. Right now, I am working at GHS (Government High School) Diki Dihoma as science GT.
