Model Christian College (MCC) organized a second edition of inter-collegiate talent hunt, Phoenix 2022.
The competition has been conceptualized to provide a platform for the students to showcase their talents. The three-judge panel of the competition included Miss Virie (singer, songwriter and composer), Mr. Kevisa Khamo (HR Manager and Event Coordinator of Musician’s Guild, and proprietor Go-getters enterprises) and Miss Lam Grace Touthang ( Director of Nagaland Dance Fiesta, proprietor of MYC Lam Grace Dance Studio). Mr. Pfutsuveilo Ladu of Model Christian College won the first position with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. Miss Hümünülü Curhah of Patkai Christian College won second position with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The third position with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 went to Mr Roshan Narzari of St. Joseph College. Consolation prizes of Rs. 1,000 each were awarded to five participants, namely, Miss Kunili Ayeh of St. John College, Miss Angela Tamang of Oriental College, Miss Sentieinla Kichu of Don Bosco College, Mr. Tahimu Trakha of Kohima College and Mr. Gideon Sumi of Tetso College. During the event, Principal Dr. Luke Rymbai gave a welcome address while vote of thanks was delivered by Asst. Prof. And Even Coordinator Jamkhanmoi Tombing. Altogether 13 colleges participated in the event.
